Information for Year 11 students

Year 11 students will choose 4, full-year option courses for Year 12.
Religious Studies and English are core subjects.
Arts; Music, Painting/Printmaking, Photography/Design, (Drama at St Patrick's College)
English
Languages; French, Te Reo Māori, (Samoan at St Patrick's College)
Mathematics; Calculus, Statistics
Physical Education
Science; Biology, Chemistry, Physics
Social Sciences; History, Sociology, (Accounting and Economics at St Patrick's College)
Technology; Creative Technology, Digital Technology, Food Technology
Vocational; Careers, Gateway
A course in a STEM (Science, Technology, Mathematics) subject is highly recommended.
An option course will need a minimum of between 8 and 10 students to make it viable as a subject.
Senior students may have to study a course at St Patrick's College if there is a clash of options, low student numbers or teacher unavailability.
