Information for Year 10 students

Course selection for 2025

Year 10 students will choose 2,  full-year options for Year 11. 

• Art Design
• Creative Technology
• Digital Design 
• Financial Literacy
• Food Technology
• French
• History
• Music
• Te Reo Māori
• Samoan (at St Patrick's College)
• Sociology

All Year 11 students will study these compulsory courses

• Religious Education
• English 
• Mathematics 
• Physical Education 
• Science 

A course in a STEM (Science, Technology, Mathematics) subject is highly recommended.  

An option course will need a minimum of between 8 and 10 students to make it viable as a subject. 

Senior students may have to study a course at St Patrick's College if there is a clash of options, low student numbers, or a lack of teacher availability.
