Course Description

"In the realm of Creative Technology, the possibilities are as limitless as your imagination. Our diverse range of materials and techniques empower you to transform your dreams into creations. We wholeheartedly embrace Digital Technologies as a catalyst for innovation.

Creative Technologies encompass a rich array of disciplines, including but not limited to Fashion Design, Digital Design, Textiles Design, Product Design, Interior Decoration, and Visual Communication. 

Throughout this course, you will engage in two captivating projects:

  1. Technology Project (2 Terms): Delve into a journey spanning two terms, where students are presented with a compelling real-world issue to address through innovative product design. Sustainability will be at the core of this project, encouraging you to explore and craft with a mindful approach.

  2. Design and Visual Communication Project: This project is centered around design thinking and visual communication. Students will channel their creative energies to design products tailored to specific situations, making this project a captivating design-focused endeavor."

The course will be worth 15 credits internal and external.

Recommended Prior Learning

10 Creative Technology, 10 Food Technology, 10 Art. Students who have not done Year 10 Technology are welcome to join this class.
