Sociology is about people - who they are, what they do, and how they change. In this course you will explore a variety of contemporary social issues both within and beyond Aotearoa, and how the issues impact on people and places. Focus will be placed on the concepts of human rights and social justice, as well as exploring how we use animals in our society. You will also plan and participate in social action.
